An Investigation on Seafoods finds 1 in 3 business sold mislabeled fish.
Seafood that you're purchasing at the supermarket might not always be what it claims to be on the label. According to a new report out Thursday Morning, Over 449 samples from restaurants, small market and grocery store in 24 and D.C,. 1 in 5 samples of fish tested from markets and restaurants were mislabeled.
Snapper was mislabeled 42% of the time and Sea Bass was mislabeled 55% of the time, these samples had the highest number of fraudulent labels.
